If you are seeking an internship or full-time employment for 2012 join the Career Center for the Spring Career Fair. Recruiters will represent companies, small and mid-sized businesses, local and state government agencies, social service agencies, school districts, hospitals, and more.
The attending employers will be posted one week before the Fair along with the positions they are seeking to fill. Even if your major is not mentioned in the list of preferred majors, proactively discuss professional opportunities with the recruiters and find out the preferred majors they typically hire. Attendees should bring resumes and be ready for an on-the-spot interview. Attire for attendees is business professional. Current students need to bring their student ID to the event for registration. Some employers will be scheduling "Late Night Interviews" during the Fair and will conduct them in the Career Center at 185 Student Services Building.
The Fair is open to all Illinois State students (freshmen to seniors and graduate students) and alumni. Students from other universities are also invited to attend.
The list of attending employers is available through E-Recruiting. Get tips on how to prepare for Career Fairs and interviews.
