The Spring Career Fair connects employers with Illinois State students and alumni from
seeking full-time positions. Students from other local institutions may also be in attendance.

PLEASE NOTE: As of January 2017, the Career Center is no longer receiving, delivering, or sending back any fair shipments. Please make arrangements to have your items delivered directly to you at the fair. If you need to ship your items back, you will need to coordinate through your carrier and remain with your items until your carrier picks them up. The Career Center apologizes for any inconvenience.

Get tips to prepare for a career fair

Construct an effective resume
- view pages 4-6 of the Career Resource Guide. Then, visit the Career Center during drop-in hours for a resume review and/or LinkedInprofile review.
Prepare for on the spot interviews
- visit InterviewStream to get interview questions listed by major and job industry, and practice your answers.
Identify your answers to commonly asked questions - flip to page 23 of the Career Resource Guide for sample questions.
Develop a 30 second summary - of your professional skills, experience and interests. See pages 23-24 of the Career Resource Guide.
