Student Expectations of Career Center Staff
On-campus interviews are held from the first fall career event until finals week each semester. The busiest recruitment occurs in October and February.
We encourage you to make yourself available to meet with recruiters while they are on campus. Please contact us if you would like to spend a lunch hour with any company/organization on any scheduled date.
Career advisiment helps students through the planning process to define and implement career goals. Students can also seek assistance in choosing a major, finding an internship, and developing a job search strategy. A career advisor may also guide a student through how to use self-assessment tools and other computerized resources in addition to providing information on resume writing, interview preparation and much more. Set up an appointment with one of the Career Center advisors by calling the Career Center at (309) 438-2200, or by emailing the advisorspecializing in your area of interest noted below.
