The Diversity Employer Expo is not a career fair. At a fair, you dress up, "sell" yourself to an employer, and cross your fingers to get a job. But at the Diversity Employer Expo we remove the uncomfortable barriers of job searching and make it easy for you to connect with employers. III. Career expo
Networking — With networking you eliminate the hurried, awkward conversations of a career fair. Instead, candidates and hiring employers can connect over appetizers and dinner to engage in casual conversation about their careers, their companies, and the resources they have available to help those with diverse backgrounds to transition from college to career.
Career Expo — After meeting employers, learning about their companies, and sharing career aspirations, it's time for candidates to learn about the positions available with the companies in attendance. Candidates are encouraged to bring their resumes and business cards.
This is a private event for employers with clearly identified diversity initiatives. So attendance is limited.
